A Full-Circle Moment: Stephen's Hulksters Angel Fund Gives Back to Marzolf Primary

October 2025

The Stephen's Hulksters Angel Fund is built on the belief that giving back to the places that shaped us creates the strongest impact. Today, we are proud to share a truly special donation that hits close to home for one of our own.

Eighteen years ago, one of our founders began their journey in education as a student-teacher at Marzolf Primary School in the Shaler Area School District. That school provided the foundation, the guidance, and the care that launched a successful teaching career.

This week, through the Stephen's Hulksters Angel Fund, we had the incredible opportunity to return the kindness. We made a special gift to Marzolf Primary, purchasing a Squeeze Machine for their students.

What is a Squeeze Machine?

For many students, particularly those with sensory processing needs, a squeeze machine—often referred to as a "hug machine"—provides deep pressure input that is incredibly calming and regulating. It’s an effective tool used in therapeutic and educational settings to help students manage anxiety, improve focus, and feel more secure in their learning environment. It’s an essential addition to any inclusive classroom!

We are hopeful that this Squeeze Machine will provide comfort, support, and a pathway to better learning for the current generation of Marzolf students.

This donation underscores the heart of the Stephen's Hulksters Angel Fund mission: investing in the wellness and educational environment of young people. It’s a powerful reminder that sometimes the most meaningful gifts are those that are inspired by gratitude and a personal history of support.

We are so proud to partner with the dedicated staff at Marzolf Primary and continue our mission of blessing students and those that take care of them across our communities.
