Teammates for Life, Teammates for Good: Stephen's Hulksters Angel Fund Supports Elizabeth Forward High School

The Stephen's Hulksters Angel Fund is thrilled to announce another successful outreach, this time to Elizabeth Forward High School, thanks to a great connection within our community!

The spark for this donation came from a familiar face: Matt Flaus, a Physical Education teacher at Elizabeth Forward and former college teammate of one of our founders. Matt reached out and alerted us to a specific, urgent need for sensory support items in a classroom serving students with unique needs.

We immediately sprang into action! The Stephen's Hulksters Angel Fund was able to supply the Elizabeth Forward High School classroom with a variety of much-needed sensory items. These tools—which often include weighted objects, fidget toys, therapy balls, and specific visual aids—are vital for helping students regulate their nervous systems, manage anxiety, and maintain focus, allowing them to engage successfully in their learning environment.

This initiative truly exemplifies how personal connections can translate directly into positive impact for students. It underscores our belief that teachers often know exactly what their students need, and it’s our privilege to help them acquire those resources.

We were also fortunate enough to spend time meeting some truly awesome educators at Elizabeth Forward. Their passion and dedication were infectious, and we are excited to share that we might have something else in the works with them very soon!
